Wynn Palace Parlor Suite Room Review

Wynn Palace Salon Suite Review

Here I am back at Wynn Palace reviewing another one of their gorgeous rooms, Parlor Suite, which has not seized to amaze me over and over again. As you all may know, I have already reviewed their Fountain Salon Suite and their Palace King room already. Every stay at Wynn is enjoyable and I’m constantly wow-ed each time I stay at this resort. From their seamless check-in process, their fine and casual dining, the impeccable service, all worthy of this resort earning 7 Forbes Five-Star Awards just for Wynn Palace alone (their sister property, Wynn Macau, also garnered another 8 Forbes Five Star Awards.

Wynn Palace is located in the Cotai region of Macau, along with the other casinos such as Galaxy, Venetian, City of Dreams, Parisian, and Studio City. It’s one of the newer resorts, celebrating a 3rd anniversary in 2019. It’s sister property, Wynn Macau, is older, celebrating it’s 13th anniversary as well. The interior design coincides with it’s name; the moment you step inside, you will feel like you’ve arrived at a palace. Even though it is located on Cotai island, there are frequent shuttle services to different destinations in Macau, including Macau city center, Taipa city center, airports and both ferry terminals. There is no timetable for shuttle services, but you can expect one ever 15-20 minutes depending on the time during the day.

Upon check-in, you come across one of their two floral decorations right in the middle of the entrance. It differs every season, you will come across either some balloons, monkeys on a seesaw, ferris wheel, Faberge egg, or a new surprise. The check-in process was seamless also requiring you to put down a deposit, just in case you ask for room service/ make use of their bar. If you have luggage, a bellboy will help you bring your luggage to your room.

After leaving the majestic lobby that reminded me so much of my childhood memories, I took the elevator up to my room (even their elevator is designed so grand), I entered my room with high expectations. There are 198 parlor suites at Wynn Palace (yes! The palace is huge!) The curtains open right when you enter, flushing light into the room. This spacious room reflects the design of the whole resort, simple, warm colors, including a living room, spa room, bed room, walk in closet and a huge bathroom. We were welcomed with some welcome fruit & chocolate as well.! My favorite berries – strawberries and blueberries, also a box of Wynn-owned chocolate. I felt so welcomed.

The washroom provides a majestic air-jet soaking, beautifully adorned with golden tiles and two golden jugs/jars on either size with a huge mirror. I love how much work they put into every little detail- with amenities such as bath salts, a brush, and scrub to use during your bath. This bathtub is the next Instagram worthy photo- having taken hundreds of photos here myself. There are two sinks on either side of the tubs, featuring his and hers. A wide variety of amenities, shavers, three types of hair brushes, mouthwash, hair spray.. etc was more than I needed for this stay. There is a separate shower if you are not a tub-person as well as a toilet in the washroom.

The spacious bedroom includes a large King bed with fine Egyptian cotton linen (so soft I felt like I was sleeping on clouds!) with a choice of different pillows to choose from. Beside the bed are touchscreen pads where you can control the lightning in the whole room, or the curtains. The Bluetooth audio system is specially deisgned for Wynn Resorts and I loved playing a bit of jazz before going to bed.

Also, for the ladies, there is a makeup mirror with lights in the washroom with seats where you can apply makeup easily in the morning or before a night out.

The living room includes a dining table and a sofa area where you can rest and watch TV. Off to the side, there is a mini-bar area with a Nespresso machine with 3 types of coffee choices. If you’re not a coffee lover, there is a wide variety of bespoke Wynn signature tea as well. There is a mini-bar in the room with a wide variety of drinks and alcohol, all for a fee. There is also an empty refrigerator in case you bought something that needed refrigerating.

There are a variety of casual and fine dining options in Wynn Palace, all very delicious, having tried some of them myself. Within a few minutes’ walk you can also cross over to the other side of the casino where MGM Cotai and City of Dreams can be found. If you’re lazy (like me!) you can dine in one of the restaurants at Wynn Palace. For lunch I ate Chinese dim sum at Wing Lei Palace, with Chef Tam as their head chef. See my review here.

For dinner there are a variety of two fine dining options, I didn’t want to eat Wing Lei Palace again, and I couldn’t get a reservation at Andre Chiang’s newest Sichuan Moon restaurant. So I settled for some sushi at Mizumi. See my review here. If you are not a sushi person you can also opt for some steak and seafood at SW Steakhouse. See my review here.

Of course, there are a lot of other casual dining options such as Chinese noodles, Red 8 and 99 Noodles, Palace Café (Thai food), or Pronto (Italian pizza and pasta).

How to get here: Free shuttle service every 15-20 minutes from Macau International Airport (once you exit from customs, turn right and walk straight, until you see the shuttle busses outside the airport).

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and thank you to Wynn Palace for this stay. All opinions expressed and photos are that of my own.
